All systems go as Lincoln goes online with new service

W&H Properties has completed its mission to give tenants of all buildings in its portfolio access to Internet-based work order and tracking systems, announces Richard C. Heller, who oversees engineering supervisory services at the buildings.

The "Aware Manager" system, already in place at The Lincoln Building, has now been installed at 250 West 57th Street. Similar systems are in use at the other W&H buildings, 1359 Broadway and 501 Seventh Avenue.

The benefits of the systems are many, notes Mr. Heller. "Tenants can request services via the Internet, and create a traceable record of their requests right from their computers. Requests are immediately processed, and work orders can be directly for warded to the appropriate party, which means that there is no need for a middleman," he explains.Quotes for non-maintenance work and cleaning services can also be delivered through the online system. "There's no playing phone tag," Mr. Heller concludes. "It's all about speed and efficiency and ease of use with accountability
